Busy Airports, Big Plans

Projects expand capabilities and capacity of several Colorado airports

Aerodynamic and Award-Winning

Denver International's pair of 800-ft long, translucent terminal canopies were honored in this year's Innovative Design and Excellence in Structural  Steel awards program. The $28 million project, which included a roadway expansion on level 5, was completed in 2004. Full Story >>


The Grand Dam

Work is under way on Rueter-Hess Reservoir in Parker, a grand project nearly 20 years in the making. Meanwhile, other noteworthy sitework projects include Pine Brook Dam in Boulder County, residential projects in Golden and Aurora and continued work on the much-anticipated Van Bibber Creek realignment in Arvada.

Powers North Segment Opens

The $38.9 million, four-phased North Powers Boulevard project was designed to provide a direct connection to State Highway 38, Research Parkway and Woodmen Road. Funding included money from CDOT and the governor's TRANs bond initiative.
